Role Overview

The HR Officer will support and enable the growth of the business by managing efficient recruitment processes, coordinating key people operations activities, and providing executive administrative support. As the company scales, this role will evolve into a broader People Function, leading core HR capabilities such as onboarding, employee experience, culture, and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding
    • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for all roles (sourcing → screening → interviews → offers).
    • Maintain the recruitment tracker and proactively drive the hiring pipeline.
    • Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and talent communities (e.g. manage and work …).
    • Coordinate interview scheduling and communication with candidates.
    • Work with legal team to prepare offer letters, contracts, and pre‑employment documentation.
    • Conduct reference and background checks.
    • Provide recommendations on process/system/tool improvements to streamline hiring/HR processes.
  • HR Administration & Compliance
    • Maintain all HR records, employee files, contracts, and templates.
    • Oversee onboarding admin (IT setup coordination, welcome packs, first‑day checklist).
    • Manage leave and attendance records.
    • Ensure compliance with labour law and internal policies.
  • Executive Assistant / Business Support
    • Support executives with calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
    • Prepare meeting minutes, follow‑ups, and basic reporting.
    • Assist with general office administration where needed.
  • People Support
    • Act as a point of contact for day‑to‑day employee questions.
    • Coordinate HR‑related communications and announcements.
    • Help organise internal events, celebrations, and team‑building sessions.

  • Provide input into defining and implementing the People & Culture Strategy.
  • Develop the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Support leadership on org. structure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Build recruitment frameworks, scorecards, and structured interview systems.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives to attract high‑quality talent.
Employee Lifecycle Ownership
  • Build and refine onboarding experience.
  • Develop performance management frameworks.
  • Oversee learning and development.
  • Manage retention, engagement, and culture initiatives.
People Operations & Policy Development
  • Develop HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Implement HRIS or ATS solutions.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and salary benchmarking.
Skills & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in HR, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, or related field.
  • OR equivalent experience (1–3 years) in HR/People Ops if no formal qualification.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, or handling HR admin.
  • Exposure to onboarding processes.
  • Experience supporting executives or teams with admin.
  • Highly organised.
  • People management and strong relationship‑building skills.
  • High level of diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality.
