HR Coordinator - 12-month contract MNA Recruitment (Pty) Ltd•Gauteng, Gauteng, ZA

A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking an HR Coordinator (12 month contract) to support in various HR activities. Act as back up for Reception.

Responsibilities
  • Coordination of recruitment activities - review resumes, conduct preliminary phone screenings, and schedule interviews for hiring managers & HR.
  • Assist HRBP with the coordination of onboarding activities. Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they complete necessary paperwork, and are introduced to the team and company culture.
  • Maintain HR filing system.
  • Assist and support HRBP’s in ensuring that employee records comply with legal and organizational requirements, including confidentiality and data protection standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions and workshops for employees.
  • Administration of Wesbank fuel reconciliation.
  • Audit Support - assist in preparing for internal / external audits related to HR activities.
  • HR Project support – assistance and support with various HR related projects.
  • Employee Satisfaction - support initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Assist HRBP with coordination and set up of employee events, purchasing of relevant stock & décor for events / office.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining HR systems, ensuring workforce and biodata is accurate.
  • Assist HRBP’s with the WSP/ATR training matrix and updating training master files.
  • Support the HRBP’s on Employ Equity admin and data.
  • Communication & Correspondence - draft emails, letters, and other communications related to HR processes and announcements.
  • Act as back up for Reception: call screening and forwarding, receipt of visitors, taking and delivering accurate phone messages, invoicing / PO management.
Qualifying Requirements
  • Relevant HR / Administration degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR / admin environment for a multinational organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Basic understanding of labour laws and HR best practices.
