As a member of the HR Department in Tulisa Park Johannesburg, you will be responsible for assisting the HR Department with administrative duties as well as gain workplace experience for a period of 1 year.

Responsibilities
Recruitment
  • Post job requisitions onto Engage system as per job specifications from HR Manager.
  • Update recruiting portal on Engage and screen potential candidates that meet the job requirements.
  • Set up interviews in HR Manager and line managers diaries and send interview confirmation emails to candidates.
  • Conduct and/or request reference and employment checks as well as any other pre‑recruitment documentation.
  • Assist in representing the company at recruiting events such as career fairs, etc.
Onboarding
  • Assist with new hire onboarding process.
  • Assist with employee orientation.
  • Manage employee files.
  • Create new employee files as per standard for new hires.
  • Update employee personnel files in line with compliance and or relevant laws.
Payroll Administration
  • Prepare the weekly wages for approval by the HR / Payroll Administrator.
  • Prepare timesheet calculations, overtime, shift and transport allowances etc.
  • Update the temporary employee contract sheet.
Training & Development
  • Source accredited training suppliers.
  • Update internal training records and follow up on internal training registers.
  • Coordinate internal training room setup / ensuring booked employees attend.
  • Follow up on training attendance registers and certification.
  • Schedule training in employee's diaries.
General
  • Assist with wellness initiatives.
  • Process SAP purchase orders.
  • Do filing.
  • Do general administration.
  • Assist with input with HR Policies and Procedures.
