A healthcare organization in Gauteng seeks a Quality Manager to ensure effective implementation of clinical governance standards and drive quality improvement initiatives. The role requires a degree in Nursing or Quality Management, alongside SHEQ knowledge and management experience. Key responsibilities include managing clinical risk, compliance audits, and enhancing patient experience through collaboration with hospital management, including HODs and Unit Managers. This is a management position with an emphasis on compliance and quality training.
The main purpose of this position is the Quality Manager will assume responsibility for ensuring effective implementation, management and maintenance of the clinical governance framework, its pillars and related clinical governance standards, policies, processes, systems, guidelines and training. The incumbent will drive compliance to the OHS Act, company/industry requirements and other applicable legislation within the Hospital. The incumbent will play a lead role in coordinating quality improvement initiatives, projects, and clinical quality statistics/reporting together with key members of the hospital management team, including HODs and Unit Managers.
