Job summary

A safety and health services provider in Johannesburg is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to ensure the safety and well-being of employees. You will conduct wellness checks, work closely with the Health, Safety, and Environmental team, and ensure that systems are in place to promote a safe working environment. The ideal candidate should be a registered nurse with occupational health training, and possess excellent nursing skills and teamwork abilities. Working hours are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing qualifications and be registered with SA Nurses Council.
• Experience in promoting workplace safety and wellness programs.
• Ability to collaborate with Health and Safety teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the HSE Officer / Manager and conduct regular checks on the wellness and safety of all employees.
• Work closely with the HSE team to ensure that systems and programs are in place to promote the Safety and Health of employees and the Environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Registered Nurse / Dip in Occupational Health
• Registered with SA Nurses counsel; Indemnity to practice with SASOHN and SA Nursing counsel
• Dispensary Certification

Mondays to Thursday : 07h 00 – 15h 30 Friday : 07h 00 – 15h 30 Excluding Public Holidays
