Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the intake process for patients by gathering and verifying essential personal, medical, and insurance information
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person interactions, addressing any inquiries or concerns from patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the patient database, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and support staff to optimize patient care and workflow
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling
  • Assist in identifying discrepancies or issues in the intake process and propose improvements accordingly
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient intake or administrative roles
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare protocols
