The Head of Sales & Supply Chain Operations is responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and management of sales and supply chain operations to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion objectives.
Qualifications
- BCom Degree in Business Management or related field.
- National Higher Diploma in Electronics (Light Current) or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience
- Essential
- 10–15 years’ progressive experience in sales and business development.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in electronic components or electronics solutions.
- At least 5 years in a senior sales or commercial leadership role.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, and inventory control.
- Demonstrated success managing revenue portfolios exceeding R500 million.
- Strong P&L ownership and budget management experience.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
- Advantageous
- ISO 9001 implementation or audit experience.
- Experience in distribution or component supplier environments.
- ERP system proficiency (e.g., Syspro).
- Advanced Excel skills for sales and inventory analysis.
- CRM experience and familiarity with supply chain analytics tools.
