This senior finance leadership role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, drive financial performance, and influence key business decision.
You'll lead a high-performing team, partner with the executive board, and play a central role in steering the company's future success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with corporate goals
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board on financial performance, growth opportunities, and risk management
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring the development of a high-performing department
- Partner with operational leaders to support business planning, investment decisions, and cost optimization initiatives
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP)
- Monitor financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory and tax requirements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including currency, credit, and operational risks
- Oversee internal controls, audits, and corporate governance practices
- Evaluate and manage capital expenditure, investment projects, and funding strategies
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures with financial due diligence and integration planning
- Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders
- Drive cost-efficiency initiatives across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain operations
- Provide financial insights to support pricing, procurement, and project management decisions
- Collaborate with IT and systems teams to optimize financial reporting, ERP systems, and process automation
Skills & Experience
- Qualified CA(SA)
- Minimum 8 – 10 years post article experience
- Manufacturing / Engineering / Mining industry experience
- Experience working in a multinational entity
- Team management experience
- Exposure to Strategic and Operational business aspects
