Job summary

Job description
  • Drive the company Finance Strategy and provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
  • Have full P&L accountability and creation and development and oversight of a best-in-class finance function
  • Have full accountability for the group audit
  • Coordinate the development of the annual operating, capital, and program budgets, and reporting.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the partners/executive management team.
  • Manage and Direct the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
  • Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, project management, cross-team communications, and workflow
  • Promote a culture of accountability, communication, and operating as one global finance function.
  • Ensure compliance with all government local financial requirements
  • Lead senior financial team to efficiently develop proposal budgets and reporting
  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelors or masters degree in accounting or other finance-related studies, business administration or economics
  • ACCA, CIMA, Chartered Financial Analyst OR CA(SA)
  • Experience working with high growth medium-sized successful global organisations
  • Multi-territory experience
  • Extensive experience in Hospitality and Tourism sector
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Extensive international experience, including the setting up of new legal entities
  • Willing to relocate to the middle east
