Masibambane College is an independent school situated in Orange Farm, some 50km south of Johannesburg. The College caters for 1200 students from Grade R to Grade 12. Masibambane is an English medium school and follows the CAPS curriculum. HEAD OF DEPARTMENT : MATHEMATICS

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Relevant Bachelors Degree and a PGCE or HDE
• Experience in teaching Mathematics up to Grade 12 level
• Extensive knowledge of CAPS and National Senior Certificate curriculum
• A proven track record of Matric Mathematics results
• Execute academic policy and procedure
• Understand and promote the ethos and vision of the College
• Outstanding organisational and administrative skills
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience as a Head of Department
• Be a dynamic, driven person with a desire for educational excellence
• Ability to inspire and encourage staff and learners to seek and maintain high standards of performance
• Have strong leadership experience and leadership qualities in order to lead a dynamic and professional team
• Be willing to be part of a successful team at a school with a well-established academic record

• In possession of a valid Police Clearance
