An innovative, fast-growing financial institution is seeking a Manager : Credit Risk Oversight to strengthen its enterprise-wide risk capability and guide both the business banking and retail portfolios towards more robust and forward-thinking risk practices.

Sitting within the organisation's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function, you will play a pivotal role in driving risk excellence.
The role is especially impactful for its cross-functional visibility — connecting insights across retail lending, asset finance, business banking, collections, modelling, and first-line decisioning.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to refine risk frameworks, uplift credit modelling, and ensure a holistic, future‑ready approach to credit risk across the business.
Provide independent oversight of credit risk across retail and business banking portfolios
Partner directly with senior leaders to align risk strategy with business objectives
Strengthen and maintain enterprise-level credit risk governance and control frameworks
Oversee, challenge, and enhance credit modelling, risk assessment and portfolio analytics
Partner with first‑line functions (including collections and credit operations) to ensure consistent and effective risk‑taking
Mentor and develop junior analysts, fostering a risk‑aware and high‑performance culture
Provide thought leadership and strategic input into risk appetite, policy, and portfolio performance
You will excel in this role if you bring :
8–10 years' experience in credit risk management
Strong quantitative and analytical expertise, including credit modelling exposure
Solid understanding of both business banking and retail credit environments
Proven ability to communicate and influence at senior levels
A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to challenge, uplift, and innovate
Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑growth financial environments
