A property-focused client is seeking a Head of Content & Social Media to drive brand visibility and performance. This remote role requires a candidate who can create strategic content, manage social media platforms, and produce performance reports. Ideal applicants will have experience growing a brand through organic strategies and must possess strong design and writing skills. Successful candidates will ensure stability in power and internet during working hours.
Our UK-based client operates within the property, short-let accommodation, and contractor housing space.
Their brand is strongly founder-led, with a growing online presence that drives enquiries from landlords, contractors, investors, and entrepreneurs.
They are now looking for a Head of Content & Social Media to take full ownership of content creation, brand visibility, and social media performance.
This role is focused on growing the audience, building trust, and consistently generating inbound leads through high-quality, strategic content.
This is a remote position open to candidates living anywhere in South Africa.
Create a monthly content plan aligned to brand growth, lead generation, and services.
Develop content pillars (education, behind-the-scenes, founder content, case studies, lifestyle).
Research trends and tailor them to the brand's voice and objectives.
Design carousels, static posts, and story templates.
Edit reels, talking-head videos, property walkthroughs, and voiceovers.
Add subtitles, hooks, CTAs, and on-brand visuals to all content.
Ensure content is visually premium, consistent, and aligned with brand identity.
Post consistently on Instagram and LinkedIn (TikTok in future).
Schedule content in advance and optimise posting times.
Pin strong-performing content for visibility.
Qualify leads and direct them to enquiry forms, booking links, or discovery calls.
Repost testimonials, wins, and case studies.
Track follower growth, reach, impressions, engagement, and enquiries.
Produce monthly performance reports.
Adjust strategy based on what performs well.
Suggest new formats, content ideas, and improvements based on data.
Proven success growing at least one brand or personal brand through organic content.
Ability to plan content strategy from scratch.
Strong design and video-editing skills (reels, carousels, short‑form content).
Strong writing skills for captions, hooks, and CTAs.
Ability to convert views to followers and followers to enquiries.
Ability to maintain a cohesive, premium brand aesthetic.
Preferred (Not Required)
Track record of taking an account from low following to strong growth (e.g., 10k+).
Experience with organic growth tactics and DM‑to‑lead funnels.
