Overview

We're looking for a Head of Content & Copy to take ownership of all written communication at Luno. This is a hybrid role that combines hands‑on writing with strategic oversight: you'll be shaping our editorial vision and brand voice, while also producing high‑quality copy across CRM, press releases, campaigns, and product touchpoints. You'll lead and mentor a small but mighty team of writers, ensuring consistency and creativity across everything we say, from app notifications to long‑form thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define, refine, and protect Luno's tone of voice across all markets and channels.
• Write and edit copy for high-priority initiatives including CRM, PR, campaigns, website, and product marketing.
• Provide editorial oversight of all copy outputs across the marketing team.
• Partner with product, design, and marketing leads to ensure copy enhances both user experience and brand storytelling.
• Manage and mentor a team of two copywriters, setting priorities, giving feedback, and fostering growth.
• Develop and maintain content guidelines and playbooks to scale consistency across global markets.
• Stay on top of industry trends, crypto adoption narratives, and customer behaviour to inform our content strategy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards in all markets.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in content, copywriting, or editorial, ideally with a blend of agency and in‑house brand work.
• Strong track record writing across a range of formats, from social media posts to long‑form articles and press releases.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or crypto with an understanding of consumer behaviour in investment products.
• Excellent editing skills and an eye for detail; you can spot inconsistencies a mile away.
• Balancing hands‑on writing with people management and strategy.
• Ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear, engaging language.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across creative, marketing, and product teams.
