The Role : Head of Business Development

The Head of Business Development will spearhead strategic growth initiatives by identifying new markets, forging key partnerships, and scaling revenue opportunities.

This senior leadership role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in business development, ideally within digital health or health tech, who can balance strategy and execution while navigating a fast-moving landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational mission and growth goals

Lead market research, competitor analysis, and industry monitoring to identify emerging opportunities

Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships and funding collaborations across healthcare providers, payers, governments, and investors

Manage the end-to-end business development lifecycle, from pipeline generation to deal closure, including proposals and contracts

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team with a growth-driven culture

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to align growth strategies

Establish and track KPIs such as revenue pipeline, conversion rates, and partner engagement

Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership to guide organizational decisions

About You

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)

8-10 years experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably in digital health or health tech

Demonstrated success in scaling revenue and developing high-impact partnerships

Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams

Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and execution focus
