Key Requirements
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business discipline (essential).
  • Professional affiliation or progress toward qualification (e.g. CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, FPI or equivalent) is advantageous.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation and partnering with senior leadership.
  • Strong background in financial control, planning, reporting, and commercial finance.
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership experience.
  • Unionised environment experience is desirable.
Technical & Systems Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential).
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or equivalent reporting and analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, pricing, costing, and investment appraisal
