About the Role

WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a leading financial services company to recruit a creative and detail-oriented Junior to Mid‑Level Graphic Designer. In this role, you'll contribute to a wide range of visual content across digital and print, working as part of a collaborative marketing team. If you're passionate about branding, design, and communication—and thrive in a fast‑paced corporate environment—this is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality marketing materials, including social media graphics, presentations, brochures, and reports.
  • Support brand consistency across all channels and ensure adherence to corporate identity.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork and liaise with suppliers and printers.
  • Assist with concept development for campaigns, internal communications, and events.
  • Provide design input during brainstorming sessions and support marketing deliverables.
  • Maintain accuracy in copy and layout, including English proofreading and resizing.
  • Contribute to visual innovation across web, social, and internal platforms.
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a graphic design role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience using Canva, Figma, or other collaborative design tools
  • Strong skills in layout, typography, and digital/print production
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Mac OS and Microsoft Office
Nice to Have
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Video editing and animation experience
  • UX/UI design exposure
  • Knowledge of the South African media landscape and audience demographics
