Responsibilities

- Provide monthly depreciation forecasts for business units.

- Maintain the Fixed Assets Register (FAR), ensuring timely and accurate recording of additions, disposals, transfers, and write-offs.
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly fixed asset reconciliations and supporting packs within required SLAs.
- Conduct annual reviews of decommissioning restoration and rehabilitation (DRR) provisions, useful life, and residual values in line with IAS 16.
- Provide monthly depreciation forecasts for multiple business units and regions.
- Support the preparation of the annual fixed assets business plan and any required re-estimates.
- Monitor and review physical asset counts and align findings with the ERP system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and verification agents to ensure asset verification processes are completed.
- Ensure leased vehicles are capitalized accurately and records are aligned with supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate FARs with minimal reconciling items.
- Update leased vehicle information promptly.
- Reconcile and process vehicle tracking invoices and maintain monthly cost center reconciliations.
- Manage and resolve fixed asset-related queries in line with SLAs.
- Support internal and external audit activities as needed.
- Participate in fixed asset-related projects, including data analysis and reporting.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for fixed assets; conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Train internal stakeholders on system changes related to fixed assets.
- Ensure integrity of fixed asset data and assist in resolving system-related issues.
