Overview

To collect, analyse, compile and disseminate the relevant cost and management information required to support and enable strategic and operational decision making as well as to establish and manage an accurate management accounting and reporting function in line with company and statutory requirements

Key performance areas
  • Execute own work according to set operating procedures service level agreements
  • Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes
  • Capturing Sundry Debtors & Creditors invoicing.
  • Preparation of Month-end journals
  • Reviewing Management Accounts
  • Creditors Function support
  • Prepare general ledger reconciliations.
  • Execute ad-hoc financial requests from management.
  • Provide continuous feedback on task delivery to support decision making
  • Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills
  • Own and live up to the company values
  • Execute ad hoc projects in support of overall team performance
  • Ensure the accurate and timeous completion and submission of statutory returns, related payments and monthly statutory accounting entries
  • Comply with occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including safe driving practices.
Qualifications required
  • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Financial Accounting.
Skills and experience required
  • 3 to 5 Years experience in a similar environment with 1 - 2 years at team lead level
Technical Competencies
