The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in Sage Pastel Partner and Microsoft Office, as well as a BCom in Accounting or Financial Management. Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Minimum of 3 years’ SAIPA/SAICA articles required.
• Completed degree in BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management.
• Required capabilities in Sage Pastel Partner.
• Familiarity with ACPAS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly bank statements using Pastel Partner.
• Execute bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file VAT201 and EMP201 monthly returns.
• Submit EMP501 documentation bi-annually.
• Calculate PROVTAX obligations.
• Capture invoices for both customers and suppliers.
• Record journals as necessary.
• Generate monthly management accounts.
