YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple cost centres.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Assist with financial consolidation and reporting for local and international entities.
• Oversee supplier payments, expense management, client billing, and intercompany recharges.
• Review and approve invoices in line with internal controls and tax requirements.
• Perform multi‑currency bank reconciliations and support cash flow forecasting.
• Track working capital and FX exposure while collaborating with operations and trading teams.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and internal governance policies.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes.
• Support upgrades, integrations, and testing of ERP or financial systems.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures.

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally within fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Experience working with multi‑entity and multi‑currency financial operations.
• Strong Excel skills and exposure to ERP / accounting systems (Xero advantageous).
• Solid understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Experience in cross‑border payments, FX / crypto accounting, foreign entity consolidation.
