Job description

We are looking for a Finance Transformation Specialist to join our clients' team in Port Elizabeth, where you’ll help modernize and optimize global finance operations by supporting process improvements, system enhancements, compliance checks, and training initiatives. Working closely with the Finance Transformation Manager, you’ll provide data analytics, assist teams in adopting new tools and processes, and ensure alignment with both global standards and local regulatory requirements—playing a key role in driving meaningful transformation across the finance function.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance Transformation Manager with process improvements and modernization of finance systems.
  • Contribute to testing and feedback for new finance tools and system updates.
  • Help identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure regional adherence to finance policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update finance documentation, policies, and training materials.
  • Perform periodic compliance checks and report findings to regional stakeholders.
  • Support rollout of new finance systems through training, materials preparation, and feedback collection.
  • Provide user support for finance systems, including troubleshooting and training.
  • Participate in global training initiatives to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to system testing and provide feedback on functionality and user experience.
  • Generate reports and support analytics to track KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and transformation effectiveness.
  • Assist the Global Manager with preparing presentations, dashboards, and leadership reports.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Transformation team, IT, and finance teams to support transformation goals.
  • Gather and relay user feedback to enhance training, system functionality, and support processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Related.
  • 1-2 years experience.
  • CA(SA) will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Prior exposure to C1 will be advantageous.
  • Experienced with implementing Accounting and Finance policies.
  • Knowledge of ERP Finance Systems implementation and support.
  • Strong MS Suite experience - particularly Excel.
  • Prior exposure to Authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe and Camtasia) is beneficial.
