Position Overview

Middelburg Care Village538, a registered Non‑Profit Organisation and Child & Youth Care Centre, seeks to appoint a Finance Manager responsible forployment for ensuring sound financial management, governance, and sustainability in support of the organisation’s mission to care for vulnerable children.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong financial acumen, integrity, and sound judgement, combined with a practical, solution‑oriented approach appropriate to a non‑profit environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall financial management of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management
  • Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports for management and the Board
  • Oversight of financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure good governance

  • Compliance with statutory, regulatory, donor, and NPO reporting requirements
  • Responsible management and reporting of donor and grant funding
  • Coordination and support of annual audits and external reviews
  • Identification of financial risks and implementation of appropriate mitigation measures

Minimum Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a finance management role

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
