Finance Co-ordinator

Job Summary

The Finance Co-ordinator will provide essential accounting functions for our Cape Town and Windhoek sites. This full-time position involves managing accounts payable accounts receivable bank reconciliations a fixed asset register petty cash handling payroll support budgeting financial reporting tax returns and managing audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable effectively.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain a fixed asset register.
  • Handle petty cash transactions and ensure accuracy in payroll support.
  • Assist in budgeting processes and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and handle related statutory reports.
  • Coordinate and manage audits liaising with auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Provide financial insights and support in submissions for government grants and BEE verification.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Diploma
Desired Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a Finance or Accounting role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Acumatica financial software especially in accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
  • Sound experience in the preparation of local tax returns VAT returns and other statutory reports.
  • Solid background in payroll management ledger management and related statutory returns.
  • Experience with annual financial audits and liaising with auditors.
  • Knowledge of local income taxation laws applicable to companies.
  • Previous experience in and knowledge of government grants submissions and BEE verification submissions is advantageous.
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

The Finance Co-ordinator will work full time Monday to Friday for a total of 40 hours a week. Candidates must be based in Cape Town and available to work on-site as required.
