Job summary

A technology services provider in South Africa is seeking a technician to provide routine hardware services and remote diagnostics under supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining configuration management systems and supporting fellow technicians with installations and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should hold a Grade 12 National Diploma and possess 2 years' experience in hardware solutions within a retail environment, along with relevant certifications. Travel and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in attending to, and installing hardware solutions within the Retail Environment.

Responsibilities

• Provision of routine hardware service and remote diagnostics under supervision.
• Maintain the configuration management system and database (CMDB).
• Execute installation and removal of hardware/software per plans.
• Support technicians using remote tools and customer software.
