Factory Manager – BOA Beauty Bar Furniture Production

Full-Time | On-Site | Cape Town

Salary : R R per month

BOA Beauty Bar is known for beautiful, high-quality salon spaces — and our furniture plays a key role in bringing that experience to life.

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Factory Manager to lead our BOA Furniture Production Facility, overseeing the workflow of our Welding, Upholstery, and Painting departments. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing planning, people management, and practical work.

From organising deliveries to coaching teams and ensuring production deadlines are met, this role is central to keeping our salons looking and feeling like BOA.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Overseeing daily production across welders, upholsterers, painters, and assembly staff
  • Coordinating logistics and deliveries of furniture, fittings and salon items to BOA store locations
  • Managing time-keeping, daily planning, and staff performance
  • Conducting and managing stock control and regular stock takes
  • Ensuring quality control and BOA standards are met across all items
  • Troubleshooting production challenges and adjusting workflow where needed
  • Jumping in hands‑on during busy periods or staff shortages — leading by example
  • Maintaining a clean, organised production environment
  • Working closely with Operations to align delivery timelines and new store openings
Requirements
  • Experience in factory supervision or production management (furniture or manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Comfortable being both managerial and practical
  • Good understanding of production workflow, timelines, and quality standards
  • Valid driver’s licence (advantageous for logistics coordination)
  • Ability to stay calm and solution-focused under pressure
