Job summary

A leading consulting firm based in Durban seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, manage inventory levels, and implement Warehouse Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in warehouse management, including leadership experience and a strong background in supply chain processes. Qualifications

Job description
Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and issuing of fabric and raw materials

Manage inventory levels, fabric roll tracking, and ensure accurate documentation

Implement, maintain, and optimize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP integration

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process workflows, and quality control checkpoints

Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team while ensuring health and safety compliance

Collaborate with cutting room, procurement, and production planning teams to align inventory with production schedules

Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or relevant diploma with substantial practical experience)

57 years experience in warehouse or inventory management, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role

Proven experience implementing and managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems

Experience in textile, apparel, or manufacturing environments preferred

Strong leadership, analytical, and process improvement skills

Advanced Excel and reporting skills

Valid drivers license
