Role Overview

Woolpert Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa is hiring a fully remote ERP Data Migration Team Lead to join our dynamic Corporate Applications IT Team.

Reporting to the IT ERP Program Manager, this role leads a team that manages the end-to-end data migration process from acquisition legacy ERP systems to Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE).

Qualified candidates will be highly skilled in relevant ERP functions and passionate about driving successful integrations.

This position operates during working hours of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to global transformation from anywhere.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the team's process of migrating acquisition company legacy ERP system to Microsoft Dynamics F&O / CE.
  • Lead a data migration team, manage resources, ensure data integrity, manage project timelines and risks.
  • Plan, manage, and execute data migration projects.
  • Orchestrate and coordinate ERP team data migration activities from acquisition legacy ERP systems to F&O / CE, including the management of data extract, transformation and load activities and mock conversion events.
  • Monitor and report progress on team data migration tasks, including identification of schedule and data quality risks and mitigation plans.
  • Guide the team in adopting best practices for data strategy, data cleansing, system configuration, and user adoption.
Qualifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, or a minimum of 8+ years of equivalent education and relevant work experience.
  • Senior-level knowledge of at least one major ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics F&O / CE preferred.
  • Solid understanding of database management, including database concepts and experience with systems used by ERP platforms.
  • Proven ability to integrate ERP systems with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
  • Hands‑on experience with data migration processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Familiarity with the underlying technologies and infrastructure that support ERP systems.
