Job summary

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test custom PCBs for control systems.
  • Program and configure PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain SCADA / HMI interfaces.
  • Integrate and troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems (sensors, transmitters, and actuators).
  • Perform field testing, commissioning, and calibration of equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver automation solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
  • Support fault-finding and optimisation of electronic and control systems in production.
Minimum Requirements
  • BEng in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 25 years hands-on experience in PCB design (Altium, KiCAD, or similar); PLC programming & fault-finding; and control systems and instrumentation integration.
  • Working knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet / IP).
  • Familiarity with low-voltage systems, signal conditioning, and loop tuning.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
Advantageous Skills
  • SCADA / HMI systems (e.g., Wonderware, WinCC, and Ignition).
  • C / C++ or embedded firmware development.
  • EMC and compliance testing.
  • Electrical panel design and wiring knowledge.
