Job summary

A leading engineering firm is looking for an experienced individual in Midrand, South Africa, to take on the role of Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate will need to have an N4-N6 Electrical Engineering Certificate, along with 5-8 years of experience in electrical installations. This position demands expertise in fault finding, repairs, panel wiring, and electrical systems. Additionally, strong knowledge of CAD systems, soft starters, and a valid driver’s license is required. Salary is R420,000 per annum.

Job description

Applicants must have the following requirements:

Must have a N4-N6 Electrical Engineering Certificate.

Must have a 転 3 Phase Wireman’s License (IE).

Must have 5–8 years in electrical installations within the Electrical, Engineering, or Construction environment, including experience in a supervisory or team lead role.

Must have experience in Fault Finding & Repairs.

Must have electrical experience in Panel Wiring.

Must have knowledge of Electrical systems, especially MCC’s.

Must have knowledge of Computer-Aided Design Systems and Tools.

Must have knowledge of Soft Starters and Drives setup and commissioning.

Must have knowledge of electrical equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Must have knowledge of electrical hazards and Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Must have a valid driver’s license.
