Your mission

KOCH Solutions Africa is looking for an Electrical Engineer with a strong bulk materials handling background to assess, design, develop, specify, procure, install, test and commission the electrical control and instrumentation systems and equipment for our bulk materials handling equipment:

• Assessment and reporting on existing systems and installations.
• Work with colleagues, clients, vendors, and other engineers to address problems and develop solutions.
• Develop standalone or integrated solutions and proposals for marketing and tender purposes.
• Design and improve new and existing ECI bulk materials equipment, systems and facilities.
• Development of functional control philosophies and software associated with bulk materials handling machines and end-user requirements.
• Manage and integrate electrical, control and instrumentation bulk materials handling projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Ensure bulk material handling project installation, maintenance, and testing meet safety and compliance standards and requirements.
• Develop technical electrical , control and instrumentation data packs for project execution, completion and handover.

Your profile

• BSc/B.Eng/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience in bulk materials handling systems.
• Strong design and project execution background (EPC/EPCM experience preferred).
• Knowledge of relevant design software and electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license.
• Professional registration and bulk materials handling courses are advantageous.
