E-Commerce Business Development Specialist – Pretoria

The E-Commerce Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving online sales growth and strengthening digital capabilities within a consultant-based sales network.

The role requires expertise in e-commerce platforms, social media, and digital sales strategies, coupled with the ability to inspire, lead, and expand the consultant base for long-term sustainable growth in the online channel.

Salary: R70 000 – R75 000 per month.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • E-Commerce & Digital Growth
    • Develop and enhance the e-commerce and social media capabilities of the consultant base.
    • Innovate, design, and implement market-leading e-commerce sales strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
    • Drive the achievement of e-commerce sales metrics aligned to growth objectives.
  • Recruitment & Conversion
    • Inspire and cultivate sustained recruitment and growth of new consultants actively selling online.
    • Develop strategies to maximise conversion rates of online customers into active sales consultants.
    • Increase total online sales across the consultant base.
  • Leadership & Training
    • Provide inspirational and pragmatic leadership to build and grow the online sales network.
    • Develop and deliver advanced training methods for consultants on building a scalable online sales network.
    • Support consultants with tools, strategies, and mentorship to strengthen online sales performance.
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 (a Diploma in Marketing and/or Sales will be advantageous).
  • Proven track record of experience in growing sales networks in a similar role.
  • Extensive working knowledge of e-commerce and social media platforms.
  • Strong background in online sales and social media marketing.
  • Valid driver’s license.
