Document Controller - Residential High-Rise
South East London
£35,000 - £45,000 basic

A well-capitalised, design-led residential developer is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a flagship high‑rise residential development in South East London.

The business is known for delivering large-scale, high-quality residential schemes across London, working leading consultants and contractors. This is a site‑based role, requiring full-time presence on site.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Taking full ownership of the document control function on a live high‑rise residential project
  • Managing drawings, specifications, RFIs, schedules, and project correspondence across all stages
  • Uploading, issuing, tracking, and archiving documentation in line with project procedures
  • Liaising closely with the site team, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and version control
  • Supporting procurement activities, including management and distribution of procurement documentation
  • Ensuring all documentation complies with internal systems and project requirements
Experience Required
  • Demonstrable experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry
  • Strong residential and high‑rise experience is essential
  • Confident using Viewpoint / Procure or similar document management systems
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing documentation independently
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment
