Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a skilled and dynamic Digital Marketer to join our client's team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of end-to-end digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
SEO Management
- Conduct keyword research and build seed lists for campaigns and content alignment.
- Optimize on-page elements (meta tags titles descriptions).
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement corrective actions.
- Develop backlink strategies and identify high-authority link-building opportunities.
- Maintain and optimize local SEO profiles (Google My Business).
- Produce monthly SEO reports with insights and recommendations.
- Tools: GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Merchant Center, GMB, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
Google Ads Management
- Set up and manage Google Ads accounts and perform keyword strategy.
- Build and manage campaigns with targeted goals and budgets.
- Implement conversion tracking and ensure accurate data reporting.
- Monitor and optimize weekly for performance and ROI.
- Produce detailed monthly Google Ads reports.
- Tools: Google Ads, Tag Manager, Merchant Center, GMB.
Organic Social Media Marketing
- Create monthly content calendars with platform-specific posts.
- Produce high-quality written, visual and video content.
- Manage engagement, community interactions and queries.
- Conduct trend analysis for actionable strategy updates.
- Deliver monthly performance reports.
- Tools: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, GMB, WhatsApp, SEMrush.
Paid Social Media Marketing
- Brief and execute ad creatives aligned with campaign objectives.
- Develop and manage paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Optimize campaigns for CPC, CTR, ROAS and other key metrics.
- Produce monthly reports on paid social performance.
- Tools: FB/IG/LinkedIn Ads Manager.
Content Production
- Plan, produce and schedule platform-specific content (blogs, social posts, video scripts).
- Work with the design team to deliver high-quality visuals.
- Ensure SEO best practices are applied to all content.
- Load and publish content across websites and social platforms.
- Track performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions).
- Tools: AI tools, Google Workspace, YouTube.
Reporting & Analytics
- Compile performance reports across all digital marketing streams.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush and Hootsuite for KPI monitoring.
- Provide actionable insights based on data patterns and trends.
- Tools: Whatagraph.
General Responsibilities
- Stay updated on digital marketing tools and trends.
- Ensure timely high-quality delivery of all tasks.
- Maintain accurate tracking across platforms.
- Collaborate with strategists, designers and operations teams.
- Support client communication and reporting.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Digital Marketing or equivalent.
- Experience with: Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Ads, Merchant Center, Tag Manager, YouTube.
- Social: Facebook, Instagram, Business Manager, LinkedIn & Campaign Manager.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-platform digital campaigns.
- Proficiency in content management systems, analytics tools and ad platforms.
- Advantageous: Knowledge of SEO tools (SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
- Basic website development & design understanding (HTML5, Shopify, WordPress, Wix).
