Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered yellow metal equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, and other heavy machinery.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy-duty equipment.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively to identify faults.
  • Develop and follow a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts usage.
  • Complete job cards and service reports in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to workplace safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure all work areas and tools are kept clean and safe.
  • Work collaboratively with operators, engineers, and other team members
  • Provide technical support and training when required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on yellow metal machinery.
  • Proven track record of maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and engine diagnostics.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on call when necessary.
  • Physically fit to perform the duties required.
