We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join our team in Cape Town. This is a dual-focused role, combining a broad, strategic delivery and coaching function with the specific responsibility of managing new client launches or features on the Ten Platform. This position requires a servant‑leadership mindset and a strong understanding of both agile and traditional project frameworks. The role involves leading and coaching teams to ensure the successful delivery of high‑quality software solutions and projects. You will act as a key liaison between various business, product, and engineering teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement and transparent communication.

Key responsibilities :
Coaching and Mentoring
  • Lead, facilitate, and coach agile / lean practices within global teams, embedding these practices and helping define standards such as Jira workflows and ceremonies.
  • Support, coach, and advise both newly formed and experienced, self‑organised teams to promote a culture of accountability.
  • Provide guidance to wider stakeholders on agile / lean / delivery principles and methodologies.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to delivery strategies.
Delivery Management
  • Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of projects, enhancements, and new client launches on the Ten Platform.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets for all deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Product, Engineering, Support, and Business teams, ensuring clarity on delivery expectations and timelines.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to align delivery roadmaps, balancing dependencies between agile and waterfall projects.
  • Manage site configurations on new and existing clients using a CMS application like Django CMS.
  • Run important sessions such as kick‑offs and retrospectives.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
  • Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define project / enhancement scope and deliverables.
  • Provide regular and clear project reporting to stakeholders, defining and owning delivery reporting standards.
  • Promote transparency and communication across all teams, handling escalations and resolving organisational impediments.
Continuous Improvement
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating and enhancing delivery processes to boost efficiency, scalability, and team performance.
  • Reinforce agile / lean best practices in day‑to‑day operations and champion a culture of innovation.
Requirements
Essential requirements :
  • 2+ years experience of managing the delivery of digital projects
  • Experience in creating and managing digital product specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria etc)
  • Experience with a Content Management System (CMS) application
  • Experience in using JIRA and AGILE methodology
  • A process driven, methodical and detail orientated mind
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to coordinate cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and motivated by delivering results
  • Commercial acumen
Preferred requirements :
  • Experience with Django CMS
  • Experience in the travel industry
Guidelines for Hybrid / Home Office :
  • Located in Cape Town, South Africa
  • Please note that you will be asked to enter into a hybrid working arrangement - at least 2x a week in the office.
  • A secure home office at your confirmed address, free from background noise or other distractions.
  • You must meet our minimum internet speeds if you want to work in our hybrid model and this will be checked during the recruitment process and again when you join. We also have a great office that you can work from as an alternative.
