Job summary

Job Description
  • Debtors Function
    • Daily bank reconciliation for the Deposit account.
    • Pulling the debtors list twice a day:
      • Morning after completing the bank reconciliation
      • Afternoon at 16:00.
    • Sending out debtor statements:
      • Daily, weekly, and monthly, as required.
    • Submitting applications to Nedbank for credit limits where needed.
    • Applications to CGIC for credit insurance limits if required.
    • Capturing and processing debtor journals.
    • Applying payments to client accounts in the system.
    • Following up on outstanding debtors and providing support to the finance team when needed.
  • Foreign Currency Function
    • Obtaining Forex hedges as requested by the marketers.
    • Accurate updating and maintenance of the Forex Sheet, including:
      • New hedges taken out.
      • Dates, amounts, exchange rates, and other relevant details.
    • Ensuring all currency information is up to date and accurate for internal reporting.
    • Communication with banks or service providers regarding currency transactions when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Matric with financial or administrative qualifications.
  • Experience in debtor administration and basic financial processes.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with numerical data.
  • Knowledge of currency processes (an advantage).
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Good communication skills and professional client service.
