Job summary

A leading staffing solutions firm is seeking a proactive Dealer Financial Operations Manager in Pretoria. The role involves managing financial operations across the dealer network, enhancing dealer profitability, and overseeing dealer claims processing. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive industry. This is a full-time, 12-month contract position.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in incentive program management and claims processing.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or similar sector is preferred.

Role PurposeWe are seeking aproactive, analytical, and commercially astuteprofessional to manage and optimise financial operations across ourdealer network.

The role will focus onenhancing dealer profitability,managing incentive programs, ensuringefficient dealer claims processing, overseeing theDealer Advertisement Fund (DAF), andcollaborating with financial institutionsfor retail and dealer financing solutions.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and financial health across the dealer ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Dealer Profitability Management

Analyse dealership financials to evaluate profitability and identify areas of improvement. Track and report key dealer KPIs such as gross margin, ROI, working capital, etc. Develop dashboards and MIS reports to support dealer health monitoring. Provide strategic and operational guidance to underperforming dealers.

Dealer Incentive Scheme Management

Design, implement, and manage dealer incentive programs aligned with company sales and service targets. Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and IT teams to ensure timely and accurate disbursement. Monitor dealer performance against incentive KPIs and provide regular reporting to leadership. Audit and validate incentive claims to ensure integrity and prevent misuse.

Dealer Advertisement Fund (DAF) Oversight

Manage allocation and utilization of the Dealer Advertisement Fund in line with company policies. Ensure all dealer-led advertising initiatives are compliant with approval workflows. Collaborate with Marketing for co-branded campaigns and DAF disbursement. Track ROI from localized marketing initiatives and recommend improvements.

Dealer Claims Processing

Oversee the end-to-end process for dealer claims including incentives, warranties, and reimbursements. Ensure compliance with internal controls, SLAs, and approval processes. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or delays. Conduct periodic audits to maintain claim process accuracy and transparency.

Dealer / Customer Financing & Banking Relations

Develop and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to support dealer and customer financing needs. Negotiate competitive inventory and retail financing terms for dealers. Liaise between dealers and financiers to resolve funding or liquidity issues. Track and report on credit utilization, disbursement timelines, and financing KPIs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration. MBA in Finance or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferred). Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial finance, dealer operations, or marketing finance (preferably in the automotive industry or similar sector). Proven experience in incentive program management, claims processing, and financial analytics.
