Our client in the Financial Services industry is seeking to employ an experienced Data and Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager to their team.

This role is based in Sandhurst, Johannesburg.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualification.
  • Experience in financial services / Wealth Management (beneficial)
  • Exposure to Xplan (beneficial)
  • Technical and IT proficient; comfortable working with and analyzing data.
  • Ability to function at an operational level and work well within a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong financial background; comfortable with core CRM principles.
  • Self-motivated to ensure personal and professional improvement.
  • Action-oriented and proactive.
Computer literacy:

Data Management, MS Office (strong Excel), Power BI (preferable but not essential).

Tools / Systems:

Qlik; XLS; Power BI; Internal Applications (proprietary systems built in-house).

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Head office-based role working with Operations Head, Finance Manager & IT.

Understanding of the company's Operating Model & business processes.

Responsible for change control of data into production environment.

Update dashboards as per internal SLAs.

Align with data architecture & data design mapping to enable data integration.
