A leading recruitment firm in Durban is seeking a Customer Care & Service Administrator to handle order processing and improve customer interactions. The ideal candidate should have a degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, 3+ years in customer service, and knowledge of ERP systems like SAP. This position requires immediate availability and is crucial for maintaining service levels.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in customer care/service role.
  • Understanding or experience of the packaging industry is advantageous.
  • Availability to start work immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and confirming orders.
  • Preparing documentation for customers like Proforma Invoices.
  • Tracking orders and controlling the order book.
  • Preparing daily distribution plan information.
  • Controlling stock replenishment models.
  • Interfacing with customers and the Order Fulfilment team.

KEY RESPONSIBILES

  • Order processing and order confirmations
  • Preparation of documentation for customers, e.g. Proforma Invoices and Sales Order Reports
  • Order tracking and order book control
  • Daily Distribution Plan information preparation
  • Preparation and control of stock replenishment models
  • Interfacing with customers regarding order book issues
  • Interfacing with the Order Fulfilment team regarding the achievement of customer service levels

REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12
  • Tertiary qualification (degree/diploma) in Supply Chain Management/related
  • 3+ years experience in a customer care / customer service role
  • Working knowledge of an ERP System (SAP, Syspro, Sage, JDE etc)
  • Understanding or experience of the packaging industry will be an added advantage
  • Able to work in a cross functional team environment
  • Must be immediately available to commence work
