Since their launch, they’ve experienced rapid growth and are now expanding their team to include an experienced accountant to specialize in cryptocurrency tax reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Koinly, Awaken, CTC, or similar platforms to perform cryptocurrency tax reconciliation for individual and business clients.

• Analyze on-chain transaction data to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax reporting.

• Reconcile discrepancies between wallet records, exchange statements, and blockchain transactions.

• Work with clients to gather necessary transaction data and resolve missing or incomplete records.

• Collaborate with the tax team to prepare reconciled data for use in tax filings and advisory.

• Keep updated on changes in cryptocurrency tax regulations and reporting requirements.

• Generate detailed reports and summaries to communicate reconciliation findings to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in cryptocurrency tax reconciliation or a related accounting role.

• Proficiency with at least two of the following tools: Koinly, Awaken, CTC (or similar crypto tax platforms).

• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency transactions, including staking, liquidity pools, trading, and yield farming.

• Familiarity with blockchain technology, wallet tracking, and on-chain data analysis.

• Experience in managing data discrepancies and ensuring tax compliance in a crypto environment.

• Analytical mindset and attention to detail to ensure reconciliation accuracy.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced setting.
