Creative Strategist (Performance Marketing) We’re on the hunt for a Creative Strategist (Performance Marketing) to craft high-performing ad concepts that stop the scroll and drive results. Partnering with a US-based client, you’ll work South Africa hours in a fully remote role, blending creativity and analytics to fuel growth across e‑commerce brands. This position sits at the sweet spot of storytelling, psychology, and data-driven marketing—where insights become bold ideas and TikTok/YouTube mastery turns into campaigns that convert. If you thrive on rapid iteration, love dissecting why ads work, and can guide editors to bring concepts to life, this is your chance to shape the creative engine behind consumer brands.

Responsibilities
  • Develop ad concepts, hooks, and storyboards for paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify winning angles, themes, and creative patterns.
  • Work with video editors to execute final ads—providing clear direction, scripts, shot lists, and feedback.
  • Conduct competitive creative research and distill best practices.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all creative assets.
  • Test variations, iterate quickly, and optimize based on results.
Qualifications
  • Experience in direct response or performance-focused creative strategy (DTC preferred).
  • Strong understanding of attention, hooks, UGC‑style content, and storytelling.
  • Ability to break down why certain ads work and replicate winning formulas.
  • Comfortable working with editors and creative teams to guide final output.
