CREATIVE DIRECTOR & AI VISUAL DESIGNER

We’re seeking a Creative Director & AI Visual Designer with the versatility to develop breakthrough concepts, design high-impact visual assets, and use AI tools to push creative boundaries. You’ll transform ideas into persuasive visual stories — from mood boards and storyboards to stunning pitch decks — all while integrating the latest in AI-generated images and videos.

This is an exciting role for someone who can combine creative leadership, design execution, and advanced AI prompt engineering to deliver powerful, memorable work that inspires both clients and audiences.

What You’ll Do

• Develop bold, original concepts for TV commercials, marketing campaigns, reality shows, and viral branded content
• Translate creative ideas into compelling visuals, storyboards, styleframes, and treatment documents
• Design high-end, polished proposals and pitch decks that sell the creative vision
• Use advanced AI image and video generation tools to rapidly prototype and visualise ideas
• Contribute to marketing content, including social media assets, brand collateral, and website visuals
• Collaborate closely with senior producers, directors, and clients to bring concepts to life
• Support the growth of Flash Forward’s future AI video production offering
• Web development or web design skills are advantageous

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of experience in a creative role (agency, production, media, or design environment)
• Proven ability to think conceptually, creatively and execute visually compelling work
• Hands-on skills in AI media generation tools (image and video) with strong prompt engineering ability
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and / or Canva
• Experience designing high-quality client presentations and treatments
• Strong storytelling instincts and visual strategy skills
• High energy, initiative, and the drive to grow with a fast-moving, award-winning team
• A passion for exploring how AI can revolutionize creative production

Salary: R25,000 – R40,000 CTC (depending on experience, AI competency and portfolio)
