An innovative renewable energy company based in South Africa seeks a Contracts Manager to oversee contract management for renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will have between 5 and 10 years of experience in contracts management, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Responsibilities include drafting notices, managing costs, evaluating invoices, and mitigating risks. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are essential, along with effective communication abilities. A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years relevant experience in Contracts Management.
• Minimum 5 years in the renewable energy sector.
• Thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage various Contracts for multi-party renewable energy projects.
• Draft notices and maintain the Notice Register.
• Evaluate invoices and manage Variation Orders.
• Coordinate and lead bi-weekly internal progress meetings.
• Identifying and mitigating contractual and commercial risks.
