Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer. Must have Solid FICA experience.

Salary: Market-related CTC (depending on experience and qualifications).

Hours: 8am to 5pm.

Type of Role: Permanent – Office based only.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law / LLB or related field
  • Admission as an attorney in South Africa will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Compliance Officer
  • 3+ years’ compliance experience working for a law firm
  • Must have Solid FICA experience
  • Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance, AML, etc.) is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping
  • Strong business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
