Job description

This role exists to drive new business for Mlangeni and Associates (Pty) Ltd by identifying leads, nurturing prospects, and converting them into paying clients.

The consultant will focus on selling the company's full suite of accounting, taxation, financial management, and advisory services.

The position is primarily commission based.

Candidates must be comfortable with variable income linked to performance, with the option to negotiate a small fixed monthly retainer if needed.

Lead Generation
  • Source new business leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Build a consistent pipeline aligned with monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Client Acquisition
  • Present and sell the company's service packages, including bookkeeping, accounting, tax services, financial statements, fractional CFO solutions, valuations, and advisory solutions.
  • Communicate the value of working with a chartered accountant.
  • Conduct needs assessments to match clients with the correct service package.
Closing Deals
  • Prepare handover notes for onboarding once a client signs a service agreement.
  • Maintain follow ups with high value leads until they convert.
Relationship Building
  • Build relationships with small to large businesses using the company's business size categories.
  • Maintain good communication with existing prospects in the pipeline.
Reporting
  • Provide weekly reports on leads generated, meetings booked, proposals sent, and deals closed.
