A leading consulting firm in Johannesburg is looking for a CNC Mastercam CAD-CAM + Solidworks Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CNC machining and must be proficient in using Mastercam and Solidworks. The role offers a competitive monthly salary of up to R 35,000 plus an annual performance bonus.

Qualifications

Overview

CNC Mastercam CAD-CAM + Solidworks (CAD) Engineer – with experience in Milling, Turning, wire cutting

Permanent Position

Must be willing to relocate to JHB

Qualifications

Mastercam CAD-CAM software certificate a great advantage but not essential

Must have working experience using CAD-CAM (Mastercam) + Computer-Aided Design CAD (and Solidworks) Software in a Machine Shop

Must have working experience in Machining (turning, milling and wire cutting)

Must have gained experience in reviewing data and drawings, performing design rule checks, the creation of manufacturing data programs and tools and also the hands-on assistance on the factory floor as well as for efficient output high-quality output from the company\u2019s various machine tools.

Must have strong working experience developing programs with Mastercam CAD-CAM software to control machining or processing

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for planning and execution of the manufacturing processes both individually and as a team.
• Must work individually or as a team on continuous improvement campaigns, provide engineering and management information that affects part quality or production output.
• Must maintain revision control and quality control on programs, tool sheets and setup documentation.

Compensation

Monthly Salary: up to R 35 000 CTC per Month (dependent on years’ experience you have gained at previous companies and what you are currently earning; client will decide) + Discretionary Annual Performance Bonus.
