An organization focusing on language development in Pretoria is seeking an Executive Leader to provide strategic oversight and ensure effective governance. The role requires a Master's degree, at least 7 years in senior leadership, and a strong grasp of public sector dynamics. Key responsibilities include leading organizational strategies, managing financial governance, and fostering community partnerships. Appropriate NQF level 9 qualification – Master's Degree (MBA, Human Sciences, or Humanities).
Minimum of 7 years' experience in an executive or senior leadership role.
Strong understanding of the Public Sector environment, including engagement with all spheres of government and community-based organisations.
Comprehensive knowledge of applicable legislation (e.g., Pan SALB Act, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Act).
Demonstrated experience in financial management, strategic planning, performance management, and organisational turnaround.
Ability to build a performance-driven organisational culture.
Sound knowledge of language rights, linguistic policy, research, and national language development priorities.
Proficiency in at least three official South African languages is an added advantage.
