What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced and talented Business Development Specialist in the Western Cape region.

What do we expect from the candidate?

The candidate will be part of our Sales team. The Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for identifying and secure business opportunities for the company. Actively promote the company in the Western Cape market. Establish and maintain productive and professional relationship with key personnel within all accounts. Provide support and assistance clients in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new client relationships and identifying areas for potential sales.
  • Contacting potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them.
  • Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods.
  • Ensure budget requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals.
  • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with key personnel within in existing and new client accounts.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with new customers at required level of profitability.
  • Maintain existing client base.
  • Attend to client’s on-site requirements.
Must-Have
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business and experience in the Water Treatment Industry.
  • Tenacious and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Thorough, accurate and detail focused.
  • Strong relationship builder.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM software.
