Job summary

A large industry group is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales in Pretoria, South Africa. The role requires a strong commercial acumen, expertise in B2B sales, and experience with CRM software. Responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and managing client relationships. Candidates must have a Matric qualification, and a tertiary qualification in Business Marketing or HR Management is advantageous. Valid driver's license and travel flexibility are required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle required.
  • Excellent understanding of TES compliance labour legislation and BCEA.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to structure profitable deals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations aligned with compliance frameworks.
  • Represent the company at industry events.
  • Manage and grow strategic accounts.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings.
  • Negotiate contract renewals and extensions.
  • Work with Operations and Recruitment teams.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity.
  • Provide detailed weekly and monthly reports.
