A leading recruitment agency in Cape Town is seeking a Sales Executive to develop new business revenue through prospecting and closing deals. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Logistics industry, and must demonstrate strong client relationship management skills. Job description

Main purpose of this role is to develop New Business Revenue and growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.

Duties include :

  • Developing new business opportunities.
  • Focusing on increasing New Business Revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
  • Preparing tenders, reports, presentations, and approving rates for different customer types.
  • Generating and following up on qualified leads in line with company requirements.
  • Analyzing clients’ needs and proposing suitable courier solutions to close deals.
  • Providing service excellence.
  • Ensuring continuous follow-up by the Sales Team on pending clients.
  • Managing and retaining client relationships at all levels, including after-sales service, client inquiries, and regular follow-ups.
  • Achieving sales targets and managing administrative tasks.
  • Learning about new products, acquiring improved selling skills, and communicating these to the Sales Team.
  • Staying informed about competitors’ services and market trends.
  • Ensuring effective communication between Sales Teams and supporting departments within the company at all levels.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Matric or Senior Certification or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in the Logistics Industry.
