Main purpose of this role is to develop New Business Revenue and growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
Duties include :
- Developing new business opportunities.
- Focusing on increasing New Business Revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
- Preparing tenders, reports, presentations, and approving rates for different customer types.
- Generating and following up on qualified leads in line with company requirements.
- Analyzing clients’ needs and proposing suitable courier solutions to close deals.
- Providing service excellence.
- Ensuring continuous follow-up by the Sales Team on pending clients.
- Managing and retaining client relationships at all levels, including after-sales service, client inquiries, and regular follow-ups.
- Achieving sales targets and managing administrative tasks.
- Learning about new products, acquiring improved selling skills, and communicating these to the Sales Team.
- Staying informed about competitors’ services and market trends.
- Ensuring effective communication between Sales Teams and supporting departments within the company at all levels.
Minimum Requirements :
- Matric or Senior Certification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in the Logistics Industry.
